By default, items are added with checkboxes and are included in the checklist progress. Optional items, however, are excluded from the progress. Items can be converted into Text Items, which do not have checkboxes and can be used as headers or descriptive text. Any item that starts with # is automatically added as a text item without a checkbox.
Additionally, items can be easily converted between text and checklist items using buttons.
